With the Ryder Cup for inspiration, the Ladies started strongly, and if it hadn’t been for some good putting from the Captain, the challengers would have been well ahead at the turn.

Going into the back 9 and buoyed by a little Prosecco at the turn, the golf was pretty good from all players.

C&P won 10 and 11, but the ladies fought back with a win on 12. Then another win on 15, and the game was looking extremely tight.

The Captain made a great net birdie to win the 16^th, and with the rain beginning to fall C&P also won the 17^th to secure a 2&1 victory.
